The Temple: The Center of Gravity

The Temple is a journey from the Garden of Eden to the Temple Mount in today's Jerusalem. It reveals the presence of God with man through the various symbols in the Bible---the Garden, Tabernacle, Solomon's Temple, Herod's Temple, and culminates with the heavenly Temple after which all others were fashioned. Today, seen from atop the Temple Mount are landmarks such as the ancient ruins of the City of David and the gilded cupola on the Haram esh-Sharif, the Dome of the Rock. Pilgrims are enticed to enter Jerusalem, a city of magnificent hewn stones, and visit the Old City with its Jewish Quarter.
